Print File Preparation
To ensure correct production and high print quality, please prepare your graphic files in accordance with the guidelines below.
File Format
The preferred file format is PDF.
We also accept files in the following formats:
AI, TIFF, PNG, CDR, and PSD.
Color Mode
All design elements should be prepared in the CMYK color space.
Please remove or convert all elements saved in the RGB color space.
Fonts
All text in the design should be converted to outlines. This helps avoid issues with missing fonts or text appearance changes during file preparation for production.
Resolution
The recommended minimum resolution for raster graphics is 120 dpi at 1:1 scale.
A lower resolution may affect the quality and sharpness of the final print.
Product Template
If a graphic template is available for a given product, the design should be prepared directly on the provided template.
The graphic should fill the entire printable area, as indicated in the template.
Bleed
Do not add additional print bleed unless otherwise specified in the technical requirements for a particular product.
Safe Area
Logos, text and other important graphic elements should be positioned at a safe distance from:
- cutting edges,
- sewing lines,
- welding areas,
- other finishing elements.
This helps prevent important design elements from being accidentally cut off or covered during production.
Contours and Strokes
All contours and strokes should be set to scale together with the artwork.
Overprint
Do not use the overprint function in the design.
Before saving the final file, please make sure that overprint is disabled for all elements.
Layers
The file intended for print should be flattened and should not contain active layers.
Printer’s Marks
Do not add registration marks, crop marks or any other additional printer’s marks.
Technical and Guide Lines
The production file should not contain:
- technical lines,
- construction lines,
- guide lines,
- outlines or markings originating from the product template.
Before submitting the final file, please remove or disable all elements that are not intended to be printed.
Before Submitting the File
Before sending the artwork for production, we recommend checking that:
- the file has been prepared at the scale specified in the template,
- all colours are set to CMYK,
- all fonts have been converted to outlines,
- important elements are positioned within the safe area,
- the artwork covers the entire required printable area,
- the file does not contain overprint, printer’s marks or guide lines,
- the final artwork has been flattened.
